This work by longtime Birmingham artist Barbara Sloan was inspired by mentor John Spicer. The landscape features a tree rimmed lake with a moon rising through a sunset. This original, contemporary artwork is bright and impressionistic. The unframed canvas piece is signed by the artist. The vivid bright tones show layered and blended strokes on a fairly large landscape horizontal work. The scene would work in a number of decor styles.
